An Introduction to Beginning Blacksmithing

Instruction will include:

Some historical aspects of Blacksmithing |

All basic techniques needed to make 3 or 4 simple projects to
take home |

Basic tool nomenclature |
 |
How to buy tools and set up your own shop |
 |
Actual hands-on forging work to create finished projects |
 |
16 hours of instruction (8 hours per day) |
 |
Techniques and materials for students with little or no
experience |
 |
Each student will have his own workstation with all necessary
tools |
 |
All supplies and materials are furnished and there are no
extra charges |
Cost of the two-day workshop:

$150.00 per student for 16 hours of instruction and all
supplies |

near town |

Food is available in Keosauqua and Bonaparte |
